‘Peaceful Kids’ is a Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based program to lessen anxiety and stress and increase resilience in children from Kindergarten to Year 6.


Peaceful Kids is an 8-week program created by peacefulkids.com.au, designed to help children who are experiencing stress or anxiety. This program provides the skills, coping strategies, practice and support that children can use to overcome the symptoms of stress and anxiety.


This program helps children to build their emotional resilience so they are better equipped to deal with the day to day stresses that life brings them. The program also involves parental involvement and commitment to supporting the strategies at home. 


Fiona facilitates the Peaceful Kids program to children aged 5-7 and 8-11 in Sydney.  Please contact Fiona for more information and to express your interest.


Outcomes

  • ·Emotional regulation; children will learn to manage and recognise their feelings.
  • Social skills; by developing empathy and self-awareness, children will improve their interactions with peers and teachers.
  • Resilience; early exposure to mindfulness will equip children with coping strategies that foster resilience in the face of challenges.

  • Self-calm; children will learn to self sooth and regulate their own emotions.

Duration: 5 weeks

Session Length: 45 minutes

Session Size: Groups of 6

Ages: 4-5 years

Transitioning into school can be a significant change for young children, and our Mindfulness Program is designed to

support 4-5 year olds during this crucial period. This program focuses on helping children develop emotional wellbeing and resilience through age-appropriate mindfulness strategies, such as mindful breathing, storytelling and visualizations, how to calm our bodies and kindness and compassion for eachother.

Peaceful Kids  Chill Out Sessions

Duration: 1-10 weeks

Session Length: 1 hour

Ages: 5-13 years

The ‘Peaceful Chill out” program provides lessons, meditations and activities for the whole class or groups and is suitable for students from Kinder right through to Year 6. ‘Chill Out’ lessons provides schools, organisations, wellbeing practitioners and groups with engaging mindfulness activities and meditations for children and teens. The program has been created to support all children in the classroom or outside the classroom in groups to develop an ongoing mindfulness practice, learn about mindfulness and be able to embed this into their day to day lives.


Simple, effective and proven exercises help students to stay calm, relax, focus and learn more effectively during the day. ‘Chill Out’ sessions help students to build their emotional resilience so they are better equipped to deal with the day to day stresses that life brings them.


Fiona is available in the Sydney area to come into your school and facilitate the 'Peaceful Classrooms: Chill Out' sessions or you can book your child in for any of the ‘Chill Out’ sessions that Fiona is running outside of schools through the terms.
